Weddings

As a beautiful stately home, Wortley Hall offers a fantastic venue for wedding receptions, civil weddings and civil partnerships in South Yorkshire.

We are pleased to announce Wortley Hall now has a licence to hold Civil Weddings and Civil Partenerships. We have a choice of two rooms for your Ceremony to take place in.

Each room also has additional standing capacity.

Set in 26 acres of formal grounds and woodland, Wortley Hall is the perfect backdrop for your wedding. You can relax in the knowledge that our expertise and experience, combined with friendly and helpful staff, will help achieve your special day

A civil ceremony may only be held at Wortley Hall when a Wedding Breakfast or Buffet are ordered. Weddings or Civil Partnerships held on a Friday or Saturday must have a minimum of 60 adults for the Wedding Breakfast. If you choose to invite less, you will still be charged for 60 adults. We have no minimum numbers for the wedding breakfast on a Sunday.

• Co-ordinated Serviettes wherever possible
• Round or Square Cake Stand and Knife
• Complimentary Accommodation for the Happy Couple
• The use of the Gardens for Photographs
• Bar Facilities

Our Wedding Co-ordinator will be available on the day and will preside over those important announcements and speeches.

We have three Dining Rooms in which to hold your Wedding Breakfast

The Foundry Dining Room

Catering for up to 100 guests.

The Fire Brigade Union Room

Catering for up to 36 guests.

The Courtyard Restaurant

For the more intimate meal of up to 20 guests.

Our Evening Reception Room can hold upto 250 guests.
